Detroit Campus
The main headquarters of Life Challenge are located at the Pierson Center on Pierson Street, in Old Redford on Detroit’s west side (see below for map).
Besides housing our administrative offices, the Pierson Center serves as our men’s dormitory, classroom facility, chapel, cafeteria and recreation facility. Women also use the building for classroom instruction and lunch throughout the week, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. In addition to the Pierson Center, the Detroit campus consists of the 10,000 square foot Grand River building, a collection of houses, and other buildings in the surrounding area that are used for storage, staff housing, and women’s dormitories.
The Pierson Center is the site of many Life Challenge functions including our banquets, open houses, ladies’ luncheons and other events. Originally built as a senior care facility, it is a beautiful, 36,000 square foot building with well-manicured lawns, gardens and a central courtyard.
